The Opioid Epidemic and Why We Help

Many people fall victim to opioid misuse, and it can all start with a prescription. Too many surgery patients receive prescribed painkillers without being warned of the dangerous side effects, such as physical dependence on these medications. The Christopher Wolf Crusade believes education is the first step to eradicating the opioid epidemic and saving the lives of people across the nation. We seek to end opioid addiction before it begins.

In 2018, Cammie founded the Christopher Wolf Crusade with a mission to end substance misuse before it begins.

Cammie’s book, The Flight, is a firsthand account of the dangers of opioid misuse and the suffering it causes. This book details Cammie’s experience with her journey through losing a loved one to opioid addiction and how these events led her to her current path of activism and awareness. Her book describes the moments in her life that created her decision to fight the opioid epidemic, and how each moment was part of a larger plan to give her this purpose.
